Tough one as is simultaneously feels like this has been terribly handled but he obviously has to tell the players who aren’t making the cut who are then going to leak like fuck.

Nico O'Reilly is just as attacking as Hall but is more of a goal threat so you can't complain too much about him being first choice. Who's left though if Hall and Shaw aren't going? Spence?

I would be a goal threat playing LB for Man City.

Should do a mass text to everyone excluded a minute before the teams announced and then call them straight afterwards to explain why they were omitted.

No idea why they had to name a 55 man squad only to let down half of them two weeks later.

And why before the end of the season?

Got to impact the heads of all the players who have either been picked or not picked

Cannot see us getting past the semis with that defense we have.

Konsa burn a sick note in tino and James. pickford still England's number one is a problem aswell,

would hate having a mackem mong shouting on when he makes errors.

Djed Spence in apparently, rewarded for his Spurs and England FORM.

No goals or assists and part of an absolutely rotten defensive unit all season.

Staggering.

However, Tuchel doesn’t have to muddy his feet outside the M25 going to watch Spence so it’s a win for him.

Winter digging out wor Dan

He’s right like. Although I am over the moon for Burn, bet if you’d told him in December 2021 how his next 4 and a half years would go he wouldn’t believe you, fairytale stuff

Djed Spence would be a very strange selection when there's already (supposedly) Tino and James who can cover that side if needed. If O'Reilly is his man at LB, use their ability to cover that side to take Trent. You wouldn't start him, and he can't defend to save his life, but if we need someone to find a killer pass that no-one else can see or stick a cross on Kane, Toney, Watkins or Bellingham's head in the last minute if we're getting beat, he's the man for the job.

Has he watched Burn and Livramento this season? I mean, I'm happy for them but Livramento in particular has been crap. Burn has looked out of place every time he's played for England and I sincerely hope he isn't being taken with the possiblity of being played at left back. Very strange that Hall hasn't gone, suspect defensively,  but if you're chasing a game and want a change at full back, surely he's your man.

Djed Spence and Madueke are also bizzare pick.

Meh, least arsed I've ever been about a world cup, hopefully I get into it when it comes around.

Selecting 3 injury prone right backs is an achievement in itself tbh.

Think he’s going off players that have done well for him personally.  I think burn and Tino have been solid whenever selected for England. Madueke has been good for England. These picks have all been regulars in his squad.
