There are strikers in this league who won't get that this season, disappointingly a few of them play for us.
Altamullan
When we signed him, & I first saw him play, I've never been as optimistic and excited about a player since seeing Solano, play for the reserves prior to his first start for us. Gini is absolute top drawer. Delighted they've given him the position he wanted, really hope he can stay fit, and really really hope he is happy here and beilieves in what the club are doing--not that either are certain to make a difference--because I suspect he is going to be a wanted man come the end of the season. U2
I can't see him going for less than £40m to a huge Champions League team. If I were to guess, I'd say Man Red will be his destination as an upgrade to Mata.
Mole_Toonfan
A lot of big transfers are mainly due to hype, don't really see him being hyped a lot yet and probably because we are not winning games. So i doubt anyone will offer anywhere near the amounts being talked about yet, not that i want them to anyway they can all fuck off tbh.

Aye he's got 9 But you can't tell me he's not missed a hat full of really good chances in the last 6 or 7 games. I'm not saying he's doing poorly, I think he's brilliant, just commenting on what I've seen. It's a bit like Hatem, I could never truly criticise him because he was comfortably the best player out there but at the same time that raises the expectations and I've seen enough for Gini to think that he could be in double figures already. I imagine he's the sort of player who probably would agree with that himself. I don't think it's a negative to say someone is playing we'll but I think they can be even better. Karjala
For all the many shite signings the club have made, hoping to move them on at a profit and it hasn't worked, Wijnaldum is exactly what Ashley wants. He's got to be one of the best players of recent years, and if and when we do sell him, he'll surely go for £20m+ Just wish we could keep him and try and build a good season around him, if we stay up. Tiotes Witch Doctor
9 goals and 4 assists so far, if you've told me at the start of the season he would get that even in the FULL season I'd have snapped your hands off tbh. Our most important player imo.
Altamullan
Remember when people would slaughter Andy Cole for the number of missed chances...you've got to be there to miss them. I wonder what the best conversion rate (shots -- to shots on target -- to goals) is in world football? Should be higher for strikers than midfielders, given their specialisation. 'kin hell, to have a player like Colely again.
Mick
His 93% pass completion rate during the 1st half yesterday was unreal considering how much of his play was taking us forwards rather than trying to play safe.

Tiresias
Kinda funny how man u went to a lot of trouble securing depays signiture, this guy is leagues ahead though i guess depay may one day come good, albeit his attitude is apparently awful

Just goes to show you never know with transfers. If I had to guess though, Depay will almost certainly improve from his current level whereas I would be surprised if Wijnaldum can keep this rich vrign of form up over time. Mole_Toonfan
He was, also i never watched him in Eredivisie ( Depay) but i saw him at the World Cup and he never struck me as some amazing talent then and doesn't now. He's not done himself any favors by putting on loads of muscle in his upper body though, looks genuinely incapable of exploding in tight spaces because of it unlike Wijnaldum who is really making a living of it so far. Also tbf to him Van Gaal isn't the best coach to be playing under if you are a forward.

Tiresias
Depay has played better than he has for Man U. he has also bulked up but still seems weak as anything on the pitch, he doesnt bother defending and is known for driving around in wanky ostentatious cars. He's not achieved anything yet and he apparently has a tattoo on his inner lip saying successful. Really. He needs to shape up.

Well tbf Unbelievable has seen a lot more of him than we have In a garbage league where different attributes matter more. I can see why Depay may have appeared the better play running at Dutch defences, but surrounded by better players (on both teams) it's clear that Gini has got way more ability in his game. Depay looks like he'll be another failed promising winger in the mold of many that came before.
