Ketsbaia
I'm sorry, Rafa but this is getting silly. It HAS to be Mitrovic right now.
Ikon
MUST start Think he will next game tbh, finally (hopefully)
Guest
He'll get thrown in against Chelsea where he'll have about 6 touches of the ball and not be seen again in a Newcastle shirt, while Gayle & Joselu have done little over a dozen games and will get the nod the game after. Disco
Hates getting in to the box as well as he did otherwise.
AyeDubbleYoo
Needs to play the next five games probably, and tell him in advance so he knows he doesn't need to go radge.
Lush Vlad
He's by no means great, he is a bit of a lumbering oaf who I don't have much faith in. But fuck me, in his last two cameos, he has contributed more in 30 minutes or so than Joselu has in about 5-6 starts. I know we all keep saying it. But surely he has to start on Saturday now? Bimpy474
Start at Chelsea, never see the ball and get called shit. Could have played against Burnley, Bournemouth or Watford. Poor him. Mind you, if he does start he has to see Chelsea as game to prove Rafa wrong and give it everything.
Dave
He was decent tonight, but I've always felt he's a better option from the bench against tired defenders anyway. Would definitely start him against Chelsea though, might as well.
AyeDubbleYoo
Just think Joselu is over for a month or two so the only decision is whether Gayle can play up on his own. Which, with our style, I'm not sure he can.

He's not going to play like he did tonight if he's starting the next game or he'll need an oxygen mask after half an hour
Guest alijmitchell
Not his biggest fan but he made a hell of a difference tonight. Needs to start Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

xLiaaamx
Even so, his hold up play is always better than Joselu who cannot touch the ball. Like Rafa says, £10 million gets you one that can kick it forward. The £13 million lad is better than the £5 million one.
1964
Much as Benitez has his strong points to he needs to stop saying the squad is shit and not good enough for this league and how he wanted to sign players but couldn’t, from a psychological perspective that is a powerful statement. If your boss says I wanted better people because you aren’t good enough but couldn’t get them, but it’s not my fault, you would be livid and pissed off and it would affect your performance
Guest neesy111
Hates getting in to the box as well as he did otherwise. It was funny watching him laying the ballroom Aarons and then doing his upmost to not get into the box. That's why he's a poor striker imo.

He came on and contributed more than any of our other strikers have in 4 games, within 20 minutes.
AyeDubbleYoo
At the moment that weakness isn't such a problem IMO, because we actually need someone to come to feet and link the play.

And who will be there to get onto the ball from a Ritchie or Aarons cross? The whole situation with our strikers is that all have massive faults. It was a decent cameo by humans he should start next game but I'd bet we still have the same issues we are having with our strikers going forward. Obviously he can't spend all the game outside the box, it's about judgement.
Sho Time
He arrived late a few times, but if you ask me he should be playing with Gayle. We need someone who can capitalise on what Shelvey and Merino bring us too.
