They cant have been watching him play this season. Along side Shelvey and Dubravka I’d say Lascelles has stood out in games when we’ve been up against it unlike the rest of the squad. He's usually the glue that holds us together, but with Lejeune back soon and likely to be paired with the better looking than Jamaal Fernandez he could be used as the finance for any January deals that Rafa wants to do.
