Saido Berahino stays at West Brom

West Brom aren't safe, constantly turn a profit & have little to no debt btw so unless he goes on strike they're under pretty much no pressure to sell unless they deem it way too good to refuse.

Well that would be incredible, giving our normal transfer dealing. If we get him, we'd have spent near £100m in two windows, did the fat man develop schizophrenia

I barely even look at it. It's a drop in the ocean compared to the ensuing cut of £5.1bn, along with all that Sports Direct exposure. Plus the fees look huge because of the recent inflation. It's not like it's his money either, it's the club's. We're spending more than anyone else at the moment but that's because we've underspent in the past and left our squad in a shit state.

Yep

If this happens and Doumbia comes in I cant see Perez being here on Tuesday morning

Think he needs a rest and we need four/five quality strikers to choose from. Can't see him leaving this window. Moot point as the above really isn't happening. Just isn't how we do business normally. We only find out when the player is on his way.

Agree that if this comes off that we'll be selling someone tmrw. This also sounds like the surprise we were promised, a bid of 21 Million just isn't us. They'll ask for more and we should tell them where to go, his value will drop massively after this window and he'll be murder in their dressing room

Pretty obvious Cisse and Riviere are going before the start of next season, in Rivs case possibly within 24 hours. No reason to add Perez to that too, well aside from pointless worrying

Good, about time they used the fucking money we have at our disposal. Not sure why we've left it this late though, nothing has changed with his situation all month. And he played for them yesterday, so they're clearly not desperate to sell.

But yeah, fairly happy about this. Can't see it being accepted though.
