Good job we lost to Bournemouth

Weird how that could prove to be an enormous turning point for our future and enjoyment supporting this team.

If Benitez is, indeed, confirmed. Beating Bournemouth wouldn't bear thinking about!!

Man, so annoying that we didn't do this after Chelsea mind. Would have given Rafa over two weeks, including a friendly and a training camp, to get to know the players before his first proper game in charge, plus two more games to save us. We're still in deep, deep shit even with Rafa, and man it'll be gutting if we go down now.

Newcastle have no issue with Rafa Benitez changing backroom staff. Has never been an issue at all.  They fully expect changes.

Mike Ashley being out of country has caused a few delays, as well as hammering Steve McClaren exit plan.

I'm picking up smoking again. Can't handle this

Genuinely, this is HBA all over again at the moment. I've not had this level of excitement with anything NUFC related for years.

If we do bring in Benitez and they give him full control and a reasonable transfer kitty there is no reason why Rafa couldn't bring success to the club. He is up there with Mourinho when it comes to almost guaranteeing a trophy.

Yeah, but it's definitely, definitely not happening though, is it?
