Wallace Posted May 26, 2016 Share Posted May 26, 2016 Unusually for a relegated team, we finished the season with a bit of momentum so hopefully with the Rafa feelgood factor, it will carry on into the new season. Although, when we all get excited is usually when everything goes pear-shaped. Last time we were pretty demoralised going into the season as the friendlies were such a disaster and the club was in disarray with Ashley and co going AWOL over the Summer and we didn't have a manager. I remember the players saying that they weren't getting support from the hierarchy so they and the coaches just had to get on with it. We did start off quite hesitantly but gained confidence with each game. It is going to be strange going into a season with so much positivity after the last few years.
