Second to every fucking ball. The distillation of years of being a club that buys players as an investment, rather thsn buying players we need or on the hope they'll become a career club legend. The majority of our squad are here because they didn't increase in value like we hoped, so we couldn't sell them and we're fucking stuck with them.

It's not elliot. You can only get hit with shots so many times before one goes in. He saved a good header near the start of the half. Everything has come down our left. We're letting too much in on that side. This is embarrassing, especially at home. Make the right substitutions and we can still win this.

Good keeper tips that over the bar. Positioning was shocking for the Defoe shot. f*** him.

Fair enough. But I didn't expect him to save the earlier chance. They're all shit and leaving defoe on his own in the box is criminal.

Absolutely no desire in that whole 45 mins.

Mitro has been a waste of a place. Everything has bounced off him, or been miss-controlled. He missed a sitter, too.

Colback is a massive hole in our side. He should commit suicide in the changers if he has any chance of redeeming himself.

The whole team has a massive gap between our useless lone strike and the rest of the team. Meaning they own the midfield.

If nothing changes at half time then I'm chalking this down to bad tactics. And that falls on the boss, just like it would any previous boss.

All we've been doing the last number of year is the blaming managers.

Let's face the players are f***ing s*** and not even a top manager can improve them as we're seeing first hand.

The people running the club are amateurs who don't have a single f***ing clue, pile of morons.

The way this club has been run it deserves championship football and that's exactly what it will get.

There is no hope this club is f***ed.

If we get relegated and Rafa leaves, the obvious move is to sack Graeme Carr.

Rafa's appointment has taken "bad manager" out of the equation.

Shelvey can play an exceptional long pass, but when he's not afforded time on the ball the game passes him by, and we've picked up fewer points per game since his signing: once again today, we're relinquishing the midfield, with nobody to press or play the short passes that can build moves and encourage some attacking structure. The full-backs have both been atrocious defensively and Colback has nothing to offer in any part of the pitch, Mitrovic is plodding as always, Wijnaldum has barely featured, and Perez is getting by on the bare minimum, with only Townsend doing anything to impress.

We could do with five or six changes, but I'd consider shifting Shelvey and Colback for Saivet and Anita in some combination, bringing Sissoko back into the midfield with Wijnaldum behind the forward and Perez out wide, and then I'd look at bringing Mitrovic off for Cisse.
