Mole_Toonfan
2nd, i don't really rate the others apart from Monreal. Edit: Just seen Rose, maybe him too although i do think he's massively protected by Spurs system and the DMs in front of the back 4.
junkhead
On the train, so here's a list of the current first choice left-backs in the Premier League. I'm not a huge fan, but does Dummett stand out that much, other than being one of the most defensively-tilted ones? Where would people rank him? By the same token, where would people put Gibbs? Nacho Monreal Charlie Daniels Gaetan Bong Stephen Ward Marcus Alonso Patrick van Aanholt / Papa Souare Leighton Baines Chris Lowe / Scott Malone Christian Fuchs James Milner Aleksandar Kolarov Matteo Darmian Paul Dummett Ryan Bertrand Erik Pieters Martin Olsson Danny Rose Jose Holebas Allan Nyom Aaron Cresswell Few of these are wing-backs I suppose, but it's close enough. He is clearly more limited offensively than all of those, apart from Ward maybe.. although he's had his moments too in the past. Defensively Dummett might be better than half of the listed players but defensive contribution is harder to measure..
Rich
And for those more knowledgable than me, was it just at Liverpool where Rafa had one attacking full-back and one more limited? Or is it a pattern he's generally stuck to elsewhere as well?
Sho Time
He's better than Papa Souare, considering he's still wrecked to fuck off his car crash - another reason why train is better. He could be as good as anyone on that list with a run of regular first team games.

Never thought if it may be intentional that we are so lopsided in our attacking threat.
xLiaaamx
Most of them I'd put him below. Maybe Ward he's better than. He's still got the glaring weakness of his turning speed being a century as well as his limited on the ball ability.
Disco
Probably wasn't him but weren't Valencia's full backs Carboni and Angloma? Both passable both ways IIRC.

Ankles Bennett
It might be that rafa is going to bring 2 or 3 in this summer but keep the majority of his transfer kitty for January. If we are in or just above the relegation zone he will have money to try and retain our place in the EPL. Spend it all in the summer and if we still struggle, it could leave us heading back to the championship. Keep some money back for emergency buys in January. Guest neesy111
You don't keep transfer money for January, prices get even more inflated then.

Yeah, Rafa is saving all his money so that he can make panic buys in January if we are in the shit, as opposed to being suitably prepared, because that is his style. Also Rafa knows full well from previous experience that he will not be fucked over in January and Charnley/Ashley will be willing to sanction additional money to be spent on players that they could have got in the summer for less money once teams know how desperate we are - even more so than they know now. Don't be so daft, man.
Decky
Or he could buy now so we don't have to face that problem in January. We're gonna earn at least £100 million in May. If we look like we're going down the funds should be there either way.

STM
More likely that it's so small that they can't remember what draw it's in.
Odear
Nonsense. If Rafa has a kitty to spend as he likes he'd have brought other players in by now. Charnley will have insisted that dead wood be cleared, which Rafa is obviously going along with. Expect 2 or 3 players to leave before someone new arrives. Hanley, Murphy and Lazaar would be my bets
