Guest chopey
Playing 2 games a day in April might be a bit tough like.
Dr.Spaceman
Have we really not won there since 2007? Jesus, they were average at best when they were in the Prem.
BottledDog
Praying for a good start against Fulham. Happy that BD/NYE/LD are at home.
durhamunigeordie
Blow for me personally - away all of September and there are 3 away games I was eyeing up. Ah well.
Andy84
Why so many games in April then just one in May
Scotty66
Living in Norwich I'm gonna take the missus on a romantic valentines date to see us play at Carrow Road. Might even hand deliver a valentines card to rafa while I'm there.
Nobody
Fixtures are shite for trying to get my mates to go to London for a football weekend and catch a Newcastle away game while we're there.
Wallace
You could almost deceive yourself into believing we were still in the Premier League with those September fixtures.
nufcjb
Why so many games in April then just one in May Because May is the month for Playoffs semis and Final. Not that we'll be needing it.
matta
That run in Done with the 4 hard games by the end of february. Looks good.
Beren
Living in Norwich I'm gonna take the missus on a romantic valentines date to see us play at Carrow Road. Might even hand deliver a valentines card to rafa while I'm there.
Stifler
The first round of the league cup is drawn at 1pm on Facebook live. It's ok though, us and Norwich don't enter until the 2nd round.
Figures 1-0 Football
The sad fact that I can now submit annual leave at work and book a holiday around the fixtures I spent an hour planning the best international window to go away in, to minimise the amount of football matches missed
sbnufc
QPR away.. tuesday night Norwich away.. tuesday night Reading away.. tuesday night Ipswich away.. monday night
Dr.Spaceman
Why are Villa in the EFL Cup round 1 but we're not?
Matt
Ipswich away.. monday night Easter Monday, so should be a 3pm, subject to further TV fiddling.
NUFCDoog
That Ipswich game will be a cracker if it stays at 3pm easter monday. Lovely part oft he country and on a bank holiday, be a good weekend that. Blackburn away on Monday 2nd Janaury will be good as well
Superior Acuña
I'll be back for the first two games after my longest gap without a game, pretty disappointed it's Craven Cottage where I've been multiple times. Happy to see Huddersfield for first time though.
nufcjb
Why are Villa in the EFL Cup round 1 but we're not? Us and Norwich get a bye for being the top 2 ranked teams at this stage. Villa weren't so they enter at this round. And it's to accomodate the teams playing in Europe in later rounds.
BlueStar
How likely are they to fuck about with the dates for TV? Can't remember what it was like last time compared to the Prem, and not sure if the new Friday night fuckery makes changes more or less likely. What's the best way to get an alert of a fixture change so I can adjust my leave requests?
nufcjb
How likely are they to f*** about with the dates for TV? Can't remember what it was like last time compared to the Prem, and not sure if the new Friday night fuckery makes changes more or less likely. What's the best way to get an alert of a fixture change so I can adjust my leave requests? From .com Only the first weekend of live games are announced at this stage, with details of second weekend selections promised in the coming days and alterations up until September 24th published before the end of July. You could probably make out the amount of time notice given for a fixture change. But expect us, Villa, Leeds, Derby and maybe Forest being fucked a lot by Sky. Dan Gleebals
Think the fixture list has been kind to us. On paper the first five games are easier than most. Good for momentum. Like rafa says, hardly that important as we have to play all of them. Still a great start goes along way IMO.
Guest firetotheworks
Imagine telling someone in the mid to late '90s that the 2016/17 Division One league would have Newcastle, Aston Villa, Blackburn, Leeds, Nottingham Forest, Derby, Fulham, Ipswich, Birmingham, Norwich, QPR, Sheffield Wednesday and Wolves in it at the same time.
