Figures 1-0 Football
For what it's worth, I'm sure Ba's goals dried up when Cisse went on that mad run when he first joined Aye, was mainly due to Pardew making him defend rather than attack mind. Yorkie
Aye Cisse and Ba took it in turns to be prolific. Ba then Cisse then Ba. Only seen the highlights from today but get in, man. He's just an absolute finisher. With the amount of chances we create he was bound to score loads. Credit to him and the rest of the team.

TRon
I liked it when the pundits were like 'he was quieter than usual today, but grabbed two goals' as if that's not specifically Gayle's M.O I didn't think he was quiet mind, he was threatening to get in behind them pretty constantly, especially in that first half hour. Norseman
After the second goal, did he make a gesture telling them they're a small club?
Lush Vlad
I thought it was him saying he was close to being offside. Not sure why he was discussing it with the home fans, mind

Marmoset
Love that feeling of just knowing he's likely to score, it's less hoping for it now and just waiting for it.
huss9
great movement from him, and also great awareness from shelvey for that first chance that rob green did very well to save.

Hanshithispantz
Quickly becoming my favourite player like. He has a proper swagger about him, even after being sparked clean out.
Lush Vlad
So far, I thought his link and hold up play has been fine. But I thought he was really sloppy yesterday. His passing and first touch were a bit off and keeping hold of the ball with his back to goal was a bit of a problem. But it doesn't really matter when every time he has a chance, you think he'll score and the opposition's back four is always shit scared of him getting in behind. Whilst Mitro is better as a lone forward in lots of areas. I doubt we would have had the same threat going forward, or had their back 4 sitting deep, if he was starting. HawK
On the basis that Diame and Perez aren't exactly making the place their own, I'd say why not chuck Mitro in. He can hold up the ball, lay it off, flick it on. Could be a good kingpin for the likes of Ritchie/Atsu/Gayle to bomb forward beyond. Doesn't have to be 4-4-2, just get him playing behind Gayle.
