Don’t think I’ve been in the Tip Top since my underage days, never been so proud reading a post.

Surely just a load of teenagers kitted out in clobber from JD Sports chucking bricks about

Usually barely even teens from my experience, just a few kids without supervision acting up and not being able to keep a beat on the drum.

Northallerton v Blue star last night, Northallerton ultras put the windows out on the blue star supporters bus and they had to get the train back ☹️

I can confirm blue star are a bunch of arseholes. Wouldnt surprise me if they paid the price for the shit they started.

Aye, they were all bairns wearing matching teeshirts and bucket hats with "Ultras Benfield" or something similar printed on...probably about 19/20 of them.  I didn't actually see any bother but they were strutting about like some sort of adolescent mafia.  Apparently there was a bit of trouble shortly after the final whistle but I didn't see any of it.

They were noisy through the game but didn't appear to be going anywhere or doing anything. I left about ten minutes before the end and as I was driving back past the ground they were all pouring out and running over the road like fucking idiots, they must have done something but I'm not sure what it was

The Benfield twelve year olds were acting the cunt at North Shields when I was last there. Setting off flares and throwing stuff at spectators. One of the Shieldsers they were goading took their flag and hoyed it over the fence, a lad who took exception to this tried to go for him and was promptly lifted up by his shirt collar and thrown into the muddy grass to an almighty cheer from those in the vicinity.

Whitley 2-0 Shildon for me today. Strange game, Whitley electric on the counter and looked dangerous every time they went forward but Shildon hit the post twice and the Whitley keeper was easily man of the match, genuinely world class save in the second half.

400+ crowd really decent too given Toon at home.

Fair few Shildon tbf to them.

Dunno if he usually does it but enjoyed the match announcer giving a history lesson on Shildon as a place pre-match.

Bit of generalisation there but aye, some of the young'uns are an embarrassment who will get their comeuppance somewhere if not careful. At last they're getting some grief for their behaviour from the older fans.

He's been off form for weeks, can see why now.  Spartans with the old Libpewl tactics  I hope he does OK, he's a good lad, humble and a good team player.  He scored some absolute beauties for Alnwick but aye, I reckon the defences will be a bit meaner where he's going

@Shearergol what's the story with Scunthorpe's apparent resurgence? Just vibes after a cleansing title win, or more to it? Running away with a huge win at York City tonight.

The manager has got them playing some really nice football finally. Brought a few lads back in who were at the club as youngsters (Dawson, who came from Celtic) is absolutely class.

Real good feel factor at the club too, driven by Michelle who is running the club: she used to work in the ticket office. It’s back to feeling like a family club run by people with connections to the town.

Sounds like a cracker. Just watched the post match with Dean and he’s got nee idea what went on or why they fell to pieces at the end. Big win for the Stan to bring an end to a ludicrous sequence of away games though.
