South Shields blown automatic promotion to the conference it seems, will need to battle through the playoffs. Lost 1-0 at home to Darlington while Fylde won 4-3.

Hebburn are top, but Man Utd protest group are 2 points behind with a game in hand.

A last minute stoppage time goal for York City means they are 2 points clear of the National League with 101 points.

What a fantastic result and season they're having, gutted I've not made it to any. 8000 home fans in there to witness it today.

Everything still in the balance given the last fixture but you wouldn't get against them getting it done in advance of.

York and Rochdale showing how shan the single automatic promotion spot is. 101 and 99 points respectively with 3 games to go, absolutely miles clear of third, but one has to go the playoffs. Absolute bullshit.

Should be three down from League 2 and top two up automatically, they'll change it eventually I'm sure but should have been that way years ago when Wrexham and Notts Co were fighting it out.

If Hartlepool had managed to get a winner against Rochdale, then so long as Gateshead won their next 2 games, they could have lost that final game considering the goal difference swing that would have been needed.

3,300 at Shields, but they lost 0-1 to Darlington. Great result for the visitors to strengthen their playoff hopes. It can change, but very likely to be the playoffs for Shields as well. At least they would potentially get both matches at home.

Spartans 2-0 down at Town. :( 3 points clear of relegation as things stand.

Ossett let in a 93rd minute goal against Emley, so it is at least 4 points now.

Blyth T outside of the relegation zone after 5 wins from 7. Crazy stuff.

Bishops with back to back wins over Easter to give them a fighting chance.

It would be great if Ossett and Silsden joined Brighouse in relegation and the North East only lost one side, when it was looking like 4 could go 5 or 6 weeks ago.

Class craic at Gateshead today, completely outplayed Scunthorpe who actually did a Newcastle and looked better with only 10 men. If Rob Elliot is still there next season they will be in the play-offs.

We've (Scunny) been outplayed in most games this season, despite our league position.

Blyth Derby for us yesterday. Got the train over to Newsham as we were warned parking would be difficult. Quite a funny moment during the 1st half when it came over the PA system that a parking warden had turned up and was putting tickets on all the cars on the grass verge which seen about 30 people go legging it out the gates [emoji38]

Match was a typical Derby. Plenty of effort and commitment (well not like us v the mackems) but not much in the way of quality. However Blyth Town took the lead in the 2nd half with arguably the best goal I've seen at Non League level, a volley from outside the area which flew onto the top corner. They added a 2nd and ran out comfortable 2-0 winners which takes them out the relegation zone. Was a more important game for Town than Spartans and I think that showed.

Attendance was 2,002 which I'd assume is a record. Surprised they allow that many in. North Shields for example are only allowed 1,500 and I couldn't see how Blyths ground is allowed more other than it's more modern.

We bought tickets in advance which was recommended (£10 for me £4 for the bairn). Easy to do and straight into my Google wallet. No queues at the turnstiles either (we got there early). Once inside though you could see they weren’t geared up for crowds like that. My mate was stood in the queue for 45 minutes for 3 pints which meant he missed the last 15 mins of the 1st half and the 1st 15 mins of the 2nd half. Maybe they should have had a couple of extra pop up bars as well to ease the queuing.

Anyway they'll have made an absolute fortune yesterday as well as doing the double over their Blyth rivals and pulling out of the relegation zone so a good day for them. A nice way to finish off 3 games in 4 days over the Easter weekend for me as well.

I live in York, got tickets for the last home game of the season, hoping it may be a promotion clincher!

Heaton Stan's season many effectively over, despite a rallying cry from their manager, but a very big match (in general) for them on Friday night.

They are at home to 19th place Ossett United, currently occupying the final relegation spot. It would be a massive boost to those above (and below) if Heaton could put an end to their 3 match losing streak and pick up a win.

I would be interesting to see the clubs mindset regarding the relegation spots. Like, would they want Blyth T, Bishops etc. to stay up so there is less travel for them next season - you'd rather go along or up the road to Blyth or Ashington than all the way down to West Yorkshire or Derbyshire, but at the same time, possibly more chance to get better players if there is less local competition in the league.

I might head along, never been to Heaton before, and really invested in the outcome as I really do want to see as many NE sides in that league as possible.

I see Ossett are away to Consett a week on Saturday, so a similar type of situation. Away to a northern side who have had a great season, but one that is petering out a bit. I guess those are the type of matches you would want at this stage, those with not much to play for other than pride and positions.

Heaton Stan is a canny set up, but car parking is woeful, away from the ground.

Meant to get to York this season just incase they went up in order to keep my place in the 92 club. Unfortunately didn't get round to it. Still hope they go up. I'm sure I'll get into one of their games next season.

I'm setting off to the Heaton match soon and also going to the Bishop Auckland Blyth T match with my dad tomorrow.

Hopefully Ossett don't win tonight as that second match will feel a lot bigger if Bishops know they will move out of the drop zone with a win.

Stan have had a great season overall but bang out of form at the moment which has ended any chances of making the Play offs.

We're off to Gretna v Berwick Rangers tomorrow.

1-0 Stan at half time. Not a bad match. Stan should have scored very early, one on one, but saved. They've been the better team, but Ossett were creeping more in to until Stan scored about 5 mins before halt time. Goal mouth scramble, linesman flagged, Ossett adamant it didn't go in, hard to tell.

Big boost for the local sides down the bottom as it stands.

Finished 2-1 to Heaton, decent match and a fantastic result. Firstly to put on end to Heaton's losing streak, but more importantly (from my POV), a massive boost down the bottom end. Ashington (almost certainly safe) and Blyth Spartans can secure their survival if results go their way tomorrow. Didn't realise until full time that Heaton only had 11 fit players and had a make shift right back.

Bishop Auckland vs Blyth Town tomorrow afternoon a huge match now, well at least relatively, ha. If Bishops can secure their 3rd successive win they climb out of the drop zone, but if Blyth Town win then they go 4 points clear with just 2 to go and will be in a great position to survive in their first season at this level.

I'm going to it, but have no idea what result I want [emoji38]
