But if Syria can get back in front against Iran (1-1 now) and Uzbekistan can nick one against SKorea (0-0 now), Syria will be going to WC. They'll get a play-off as it stands. Iran has scored twice, and as of now, Syria are eliminated from the World Cup entirely unless there is a goal for them or South Korea. Elsewhere, Ghana have gone to Brazzaville and put a beating on Congo Republic. 5-1. They are still in a lot of trouble and will be hoping for a draw between Uganda and Egypt.
