M1tche
Shelvey has become a lot more mobile, looks fitter and more focused than before. He's an idiot no doubt and he could force Merino to be less effective but it has to be worth a go. Hayden is reliable but predictable and isn't going to hurt the opposition. Setting up against Merino and Shelvey is potentially very hard to do. I think that a little harsh on Hayden. He might not open a team up with a pass, but he drives passed the forwards well at times and has delivered a few decent balls across the box. I'm just happy we now have 3 players in midfield that you can make a case for starting, instead of seeing Colback every week..
madras
I know some have praised Ritchies work today, and rightly so but Merino was by far and away the best player on the pitch today......can't wait till he gets up to speed.
cubaricho
I think that Merino could easily be the buy of the season if he keeps his trajectory moving upward. The dude was class today.
Cronky
He seems to be finding his feet very quickly in this league. Still getting used to the tempo, and the different challenges that Premiership referees will allow, but has vision, skill and decent pace. He and Hayden look to be forming a good combination. AyeDubbleYoo
He had a great game, I'm just as impressed by his defending and heading as his passing TBH. Rafa's third choice signings > Carr's third choice signings.
Pilko
All action stuff today. Had a blinder.
HaydnNUFC
Absolutely outstanding today. Think we've found an absolute gem. Obligated to buy him for £6m, n'al. Mint.
NEEJ
Seriously impressed with him today. He used the ball incredibly well and didn't allow himself to be bullied. He's gonna be one hell of a player in 5 years time, that's after only seeing him thrice.
Interpolic
Reminds me of Speed. If he can score goals as well then he's really got the lot.
Guest
He's going to be at a top 5 club in England or Spain in 2-3 years. It'll be an honour to see it.
Village Idiot
Well, he was at a top German club. Glad he's adapting quickly. Signing him was a really shrewd move.

Yorkie
All the possession/passing/interception/etc stats aside - BBC says he covered the most ground as well - Ritchie being second. So he's a grafter n'all. Imagine if he adds goals to his game as well.
Guest Howaythetoon
He oozes class on the ball and has deceptively quick feet with an even quicker brain it seems.

Tiresias
Finally hopefully someone to replace Cabaye.
Zero
I always believe losing Cabaye is the main reason for our 2nd relegation, because we no longer have similar quality in the middle to dominate some matches.
NoU
He's going to be at a top 5 club in England or Spain in 2-3 years. It'll be an honour to see it. Hopefully that club will be us.
U2
Well, he was at a top German club. Glad he's adapting quickly. Signing him was a really shrewd move. Yeah, he just didn't have the opportunities to play given the depth of talent Dortmund have at CM. He'll grow with us and get a move to Spurs or Liverpool imo. The College Dropout
Wonder what Souness thinks of him now . Not that anyone cares but he was very harsh on him last week. That he was very good yesterday? He made a mistake last week and it cost us a goal and he got stick. By all accounts he played really well yesterday. The 2 can exist in harmony
