Expand €75 Million, but it only gets activated after the 21/22 season - so if you want him now you have to pay what Dortmund would want for him. For Dortmund it would make a lot more sense economically to get rid this summer, which is why it'll likely happen one way or the other if a club is desperate enough. For other clubs with the money, it would also make more sense to go for him this summer as it would mean there's less competition. That explains it Ethics put aside, if I was Real/Chelsea/Man Utd etc. and had the money to buy him this summer in order to avoid other potential suitors to join the chase in a year it's a no brainer really. I wouldn't feel certain that he would chose them over f.ex Liverpool or Juventus etc next summmer. I really hope the "bubble" we've been waiting on to burst, bursts soon.
