Generational talent is a term that gets thrown around way too much. I remember when Dayot Upamecano and Matthijs de Ligt were both 20 years old and being called generational talents. Even Martin Odegaard was supposed to be the next Pele. I bet Froggy will be back here after January telling us that this new generational talent of theirs needs time and that we're being too critical of him in hindsight.

 We did pretty much the same thing spending big on two back up full backs when we were crying out for a new right winger.  Sometimes an opportunity to sign a player has to be taken, even if the timing isn't quite right

Should be everyone's thought on him tbh. Strikes me as one of those players that if he had a good injury record, he'd already be playing at a higher level.

thats going to really help their finances going forward. Still a good fee despite the fact he'd have gone for a lot more without the allegations.
