Everyone else doing some tidy business and we're sitting around fingering our arseholes again to a contract renewal.

Can we sell some dead weight and get some reinforcements please or are we keeping the powder dry?

Paqueta on form is a Man City player. He's obviously damaged goods, big issues with temperament, but is very useful on his day. A match winner. People said similar things about Thielemans, but he turned it around at Villa.

At 30 odd mill a definite Moneyball signing, like Xhaka to the mackems but much younger. West Ham are a shitshow, and there are plenty of examples of players blossoming once out of the shitshow (Scotty McT etc). Under Eddie and his mate Bruno as captain, the lad could have it in him.

He didn't play in West Ham's last game because he wants to force a move through to Flamengo but West Ham rejected their offer, not sure there's enough money in that league to bring him home, it would take a league record to convince West Ham to let him go, especially as they're staring down the barrel this season.

I'm sure 2 of those 3 clubs will be absolutely fine.

I think Villa should be punished by the FA by throwing them out of the FA Cup.

We could solve this for Chelsea by taking Josh Acheampong off their hands.

I rate Gallagher, but he's a proper divy for choosing Spurs over Villa. He'll probably make them better but he'll be surrounded by Spurs player energy and likely be infected by it soon enough.

Has Mark Douglas ever been right? Seems like a nice bloke and very inoffensive, but he never seems to get anything right. He's basically if Luke Edwards wasn't a twat.
