Now Olympiakos are flush with cash, I wonder if they need a keeper…

They'd probably be happy to spunk it all on bringing big Vlach home if their owner didnt happen to have inside info from Notts Forest :joey:

Imagine a home-grown geordie lad, reaching that kind of level and being an integral part of our side - and then proceeding to leave in the manner in which Trent has, running his contract down for a move which is rumoured to have been in the works for 2 years (something which his Spanish proficiency certainly gives support to).

There would be some real rancour around it, no doubt, if we're being objective

Liverpool could've offloaded him ages ago. They offered him a deal, but he turned it down. With only a year left, you sell him.

Liverpool fans wanted him to sign, even if it wasn't what he thought he was worth, then ask to leave for Real? Think they'd have reacted differently? Wouldn't the club have priced him out of a move?

As soon as Trent wanted Real, it was a no-win for him with the fans. He *had* to stay, in their eyes.

Doubt there would be. A home-grown Geordie that’s played an integral role in 2 League Titles and One UCL (and further 2 UCL finals) in addition to countless other trophies would be worshiped. And of all the clubs to leave on a free, the single biggest and most famous club in the world is perfectly acceptable.

Liverpool fans are a mental bunch, and see Real Madrid as fierce rivals. When Real likely don’t even recognise Liverpool :D

I find it very funny, him speaking Spanish is genuine lols

But if a Newcastle player did it and joined say Liverpool or Man City, let’s be honest fans would be going absolutely bananas

'Carra, Carra. Liverpool have spent over £200M this summer. You can't say they haven't spent big'

They must be confident to the sale Nunez now? Maybe even Diaz?

I wonder what Nunez would fetch now? Was only a couple of years ago he wasone of the most sought after strikers on the continent.
