What's this Barry like that Everton have signed? Not heard of him personally.

Supposed to be a right handful. I bet Gareth will be happy his young young'un has got a move to the PL

Think we’ll see a short lived spike in form for Kudus and then see an early fade to his career and for him to basically be a journeyman within 3 years even though he’s extremely talented

Good player but always felt like he flattered to deceive at bit at West Ham.

Might improve with better players around him like.

I know they aren’t exactly like-for-like, but I’m much happier our £55m has gone on Elanga.

Presumably no Mbeumo to Spurs then.

Kudus is 25 next month, so its time for him to get his output up. He's very skilful but needs more end product.

It's hard to judge Spurs after the Ange shitshow, but the main need is to tighten up defensively.

Sorry lads did I say something funny? One has 9 G&A in all comps and the other has 29.

Or is it because it's Man United involved?

Nice pickup for Spurs. Got that fee down to a reasonable number too.

Happier with the Elanga signing overall though. Couple of years younger and like his scope for further improvement more.

Kudus release clause was only active for first 10 days of July. Valued at £80m for teams on the continent, £85m for those in the Premier League and £120m for those in Saudi Arabia.

Is that normal, to have 3 different prices in a contract?

Was just laughing as it was random

Kudus, Elanga and Madueke all going for around the £55m mark seems about right to be fair. It’ll be interesting to see who turns out to be the best buy out of the three.

Both Kudus and Mbeumo had similar numbers in the Premier League, in the 23/24 season, around 8/9 goals and 6 assists.

The two seasons before that Mbeumo was typically in that range of production too.

Last season was the anomaly for Mbeumo so far.

He's now spoken of as though he is clearly above all these other guys, but we'll see if that's the case soon enough.

I like Mbeumo, but not convinced he's now going to continue to produce at around the level he did last season.

Will be impressed if he does. Let's see.
