Kudus for £55m is a great deal in this market, wish we'd gone for him at that price.

Only wanted Tottenham by reports. Hes also probably one of the wants to stay in London.

Nah we got a good lad kudus and madueke are all ego.

You don't know these people to be saying that.

Furthermore, elite athletes having an ego is a non issue.

Kudus last year was poor and the westham faithful reckon he wasn't up for it.

Most players have up and down seasons, form is temporary, class is permanent.

Foden was garbage last year but I wouldn't write him off because on that

I'd argue it's hard to get going playing for a poorly managed club with inter changing managers. He'd have cooked with Eddie's coaching next to Isak at SJP

Oh, I get it. There's an argument that Abramovich going to Chelsea was the most influential/impactful thing that's ever happened in football. Formation of the Premier League probably the only thing that tops it.

Alternative humorous response: you're just gutted he chose not to buy Spurs!

 Not in the slightest.

One of the best days I can remember pre meeting my wife involved karaoke in a kilt in a Ghanaian pub after a game at WHL. There’s a solid Ghanaian community in Tottenham, so this is kinda cool.

My God ... so glad we don't carry on in this sort of manner when we go for players. So trashy.

Nah if they’ve been wronged they should complain. Sick of these ‘big 6’ clubs throwing their weight about time and again

Yeah, I meant doing what Spurs did, and trying to unsettle or turn players heads first, before approaching the other club first.

So what would be the basis of their claim? That the clause could not be communicated to external parties and only came into effect if an unsolicited bid was made which matches the clause figure. Instead MGW’s representatives have informed Tottenham of the clause, prompting the bid and therefore it’s invalid?

Liverpool didn't sell even though Arsenal offered the Luis Suarez release clause.

There are various theories why, as in it wasn't a binding clause or Suarez' representatives didn't lawyer up and force the issue.

John Henry reckons they simply refused to sell.
