Barcelona alleged to have beaten Chelsea to Kounde. Fuckers really are the pits, apparently they have outstanding payments of over 120m Euros with clubs across Europe that need paying but still whacking down cash for players.

Is this 120m payments they’ve defaulted on? If so they can issue winding up petitions no?

They are basically mortgaging future tv revenue as we speak. Also it’s perfectly normal for clubs to be owed or owe transfer fees given the nature of the agreements.

And when there are no more assets to securitise? Already encumbered 25% of their future tv rights. They also have a decrepit stadium to fix up.

Well, yea so people who trade with them in the future should worry (this was one of Bayern’s concerns). I’m also assuming it’s possible to cover such things with bespoke insurance contracts.

Ar fuck off, West Ham.

They have been linked with a lot of nice names, but have not signed any of them.

They've also been a bit ropey so far in pre-season, and some of their fans are concerned.

Apparently they were shocking v Rangers. A looked half arsed and Rice apparently threw his captains armband in a huff

Yeah, saw the highlights from the game, and they were getting opened up regularly.

It's laughable watching people clutch their pearls around our takeover (financially speaking, not morally), while Chelsea and Barcelona continue to burn down any concept of there being 'financial fair play' in this sport.

West Ham have hit the jackpot with their location and having a brilliant stadium almost handed to them haven't they?

West Ham throwing some big money around, the Dildo market must be doing good business right now

What money have they actually thrown?

Or they had a good season and got far in Europe..

Or they have extra cash to spend as Joe Public bought their brand new stadium so they didn’t have to.

In fairness, not much yet but all the targets they’ve been linked with carry a big fee and although I’m sure they won’t land them all, I’m sure they’ll get some of them

Fair play to them.

Yeah. But it means they have extra cash to play with (as already stated, the Europa league isn’t the best for cash income, no matter how far they went) instead of building their own place or renovating their last stadium.
