CPL
Jesus man, it’s going to break my heart if/when he leaves. Easily my favourite personality in all of football. This! Very passionate about football and Newcastle alongside Sir Bobby and Keegan. Enjoy it while it lasts!
AyeDubbleYoo
I don't think I'll feel much except confirmation of my existing sadness TBH. I'm fully expecting him to leave, have been for ages.

Wilson
It'll be an honour to watch him lead out the mighty Lei..... Nah, I can't say it. Fucks sake
Mike
Would love to head the sound of Ashley's massive jeans flapping through the air as Rafa hip tossed the cheap cunt.
Raconteur
I don't think I'll feel much except confirmation of my existing sadness TBH. I'm fully expecting him to leave, have been for ages. This is where I'm at, like a long farewell. There might be sweet moments on the journey, but it's only going to end one way.

HawK
He literally is as close to Sir Bobby as anyone could get. For us to have been blessed with the presence of these two great men is a privilege.

Infinitely Content
A quick look at a Leicester City forum, and most are firmly against the idea of Benitez as their manager - preferring Puel, Wagner or Rodgers. Oh dear. He deserves better than Leicester, does Rafa, and part of the reason I say that, is that it would be tormenting and heartbreaking to see him go there and do inevitably wonderful things with their resources that far surpass anything we're likely to have in the foreseeable future. Infinitely Content
Rodgers would do well there imo. Lets hope he ends up going there then, as in Rafa's whole time here, this Leicester situation and prospect of them needing a new manager in a few month is the first time I've been genuinely concerned of him leaving to go elsewhere. Great manager, but no disrespect to Keegan, Bobby's just much more of a great man imo. That certain ineffible quality.
frankpingel
Fair enough, Keegan moreso for me but I always respect others opinions.
AyeDubbleYoo
Keegan will always be the real giant of NUFC for me, followed by Bobby. Rafa could easily get into that bracket if he was allowed some money and a few years. Certainly among young fans growing up now.
frankpingel
Once Ashley goes there needs to be some recognition of KK either in a statue or stand renaming in his honour. Saddens me to contemplate him going without another show of how thankful we are for all he did for us and our club.

Guest reefatoon
Robson's era was great, but nothing will ever come close to what Keegan brought to the club. Exactly right. Been watching those years back and they were unreal. We were completely spoiled watching that football, it was immense. Tried to get myself in the mood for our last match by watching the highlights from the 95/96 season and it had the complete wrong effect. Instead of getting me up for the match it just made me realise how utter boring and shit it is now. We will never get those days back.

Don't really understand that comment, makes it sound like Keegan is a c*** , when in fact he comes across as a genuinley nice, warm person, the same as Robson and Benitez. That's why we love them, if they were c***s as people but good managers, it would be a grudging respect only, and not an outpouring of love. The only difference i see is in terms of managerial ability, you could argue Keegan is the best manager for our club as he got closest to winning the league, but Robson and Benitez are obviously the better managers in terms of winning trophies in their careers. Maybe not but if bobby had what keegan had no one would have touched us wed have pissed that league for 2 or 3 seasons. Keegans time was unbelievable fun and ultimately typical nufc disappointment but tactically he wasn't on the same planet as Bobby
