There's a strong argument to be made that we are currently one of the best teams in the world.

 fair play man. Rafa is awesome, and with continued support from the owner things will only get better.

My favourite thing so far is how he's properly unlocked Doucore as a box to box midfielder that is scoring goals consistently. He looks sensational so far this season.

Enough has been said about Townsend and Gray already really, as that was just a piss take. Almost every single game those two are racking up goals and assists it seems.

Totally agree @KaKa - he's got Doucoure looking like prime Diame.

Long way to go. We did struggle badly against "weaker" teams last year so it's encouraging we're winning those games, but that's the thing, we've played barely anyone so far. And arguably our toughest game, away to Villa, we delivered what can only be described as a harrowingly bad performance.

Think the 13pts from 6 games does gloss over some major issues we still have which better teams will expose (e.g. we are still terribly slow starters, can look half asleep for large periods of games), but obviously can't knock it so far.

Stick it out, it takes over 3 years to change a system/style/plan/tactics. And that comes from the mighty Bruce who is doing so much better than Rafa did here.

Oh I miss Rafa man :'(

The thing is with Rafa you will accumulate more points (trademark Bruce) when even playing shite than under previous managers playing well and eventually you will start playing better and better and looking good. Give him time, he will spend wisely, he’ll buy some duds but when he’s had real money he’s bought players of quality and turned them into top/world-class. DCL will benefit so much under Rafa, Richarlison and Dacoure too.

Take a step back and look at the bigger picture. It won't change overnight, but what you have got now is a manager who knows exactly what he wants, and a manager who will aim for the top and never settle for being less than you are worth. I'm surprised he's started so well in all honesty, his teams tend to get stronger the deeper you get into the season. At least that was our experience. Personally speaking, I was able to enjoy even the more turgid games because I could see there was a plan there, just not the players to execute it well.

We have the absolute opposite in a manager who has no idea what formation to use, and is happy to finish above a relegation spot as long as no one criticises him, otherwise he'll start getting angry and complaining everyone's out to get him. He fits in perfectly with a squad who is also happy just to pick up their wages and coast along without much expectation.

To be fair both DCL and Richarlison were out for that Villa game.

Like others have said the more time with Rafa the better the team will become, so the fact you've started so well, even with your two best players missing some time already, that is a very good sign.
