is there any chance rafa burns the place to the ground once we're safe and he's left, i.e. holds a scathing press conference or whatever?  :/

Don't really think that's his style tbh, but no reason why he couldn't be critical, he'll be out of contract, it's not like he'll be leaving with a big pay off if he keeps his mouth shut.

 no chance man. He's probably not even leaving he will sign up for another 6m and another couple of early cup exits next season. If/when he signs he's just as complicit in this bollocks as the rest of them. Yesterday was  fucking disgrace. A club actively wanting to lose a 4th round FA cup game is sickening no matter how people want to dress it up. Ashley has ground people down so much now though that it just gets meekly accepted which is the worst part about it!

He hasn't said he is is leaving.

So if he signed on again for more of the same next season he wouldn't be complicit in this?

Actively losing a FA cup game isn't sickening?

So yesterday wasn't just meekly accepted was it not?

I'd like to know what part of my statement you deemed ridiculous as it's bang on the money. Your probably one of the modern soft fans they have brainwashed

What would thoughts be if say Rafa decided to stay and sign a 3 year contract extension knowing Jabba isn't selling the club and he won't be guaranteed a lot if any money to spend in the transfer window?

They played s****. Lost. The end.

No they never man! You could tell when he was interviewed about the game beforehand he wasn't bothered at all. He wanted out that competition it's clear to see. It's totally wrong! We have got in this daft era where players apparently need wrapped in cotton wool.

I remember Shearer used to play against all sorts of s**** in cups, Stevenage, Grimsby etc and we took the cups seriously. No coincidence playing likes of Shearer in the early rounds got us to a couple of finals.

Right geniune question cards on the table time. Let's get some serious answers to this:

If Rafa Benitez signs a new deal under this regime and there is no spending still and more early cup exits will he be complicit and what sort of regard would he be held in then?

That he is content in this sham. We will soon see.

I think a lot of people are going to be in for a big shock

Of course he will. It will be the last thing he tries to do for us, tell all about what really goes on behind the scenes. The alternative is that he will publish his memoirs about his time here. It would probably be a best seller. Hopefully he has been writing already so only the last chapter to write so not long to wait for it to be published. I have never bought a book like this but would be first in the queue for Rafas memoirs.
