Takeover or bust.

Yeah. I'm losing patience with it all (the club) now.

For those saying a relegation isn't in Ashley's best interests....really? Sounds familiar. 2 relegation's later. In his world we just bounce straight back up- we sell players for a profit, keep what we've got and bounce back straight away whilst keeping a full SJP.

We're utterly fucked if this doesn't happen. I'm so fucking sick of this club.

Been firmly in the wait and see camp, but we're heading into December now, time is not quite running out yet, but we need something to happen soon.

Saying that, at least we're not being fed lies on a daily basis like the other times we've been up for sale. Remember "end of next week" for like two months the first time we were up for sale under this cunt?

Have a read of Simon Bird's latest piece on this and try not to rage after the very first line.

When even local journalists supposedly in touch keep perpetuating the old clichés about our expectations, what chance do we have?

Anyway, the only bit even approaching 'new' is:

Benitez is not expecting a huge hike in his budget in January if the club changes hands.

He might get around £20m in the New Year under Ashley. That would double under new owners looking to protect their investment and keep the club in the top flight.

Tensions have arisen because last week’s bid became public, with both sides upset that it leaked.

But it is said Staveley remains optimistic it can be done, and that she shouldn’t be underestimated. That remains to be proven.

You what? Steve Wraith said he felt sick and nauseous, takeover's off.

£20m would get us a striker who can get 7 or 8 goals till the end of the season, right?

It might even get us a decent loan striker (Ings for example) and a proper #10. For some reason, backed up by nothing other than assumptions, I feel like it would be easier to sign a striker on loan than a #10. Unless we can persuade Fat Sam to loan us Barkley for the rest of the season...

Why have people started basing how many goals a striker can guarantee on 5m 10m 20m etc being like between 5-10 goals in the premier league. Didn't mitro get 9 in his debut prem season and he was shite and didnt play a full season.

Its all utter bollox. A cheap investment could do equally as well as a 60m striker, depending on hitting form and simply adjusting to changes quickly or pure luck etc etc.

This price to goals thing is a load of shit for me. Obviously Aguero etc you would expect to be good given his reputation.

But nobody would have expected Keane to be the striker he is to start with. Everyone has to start somewhere.

Im sure Vardy was like 1.5m from Fleetwood.

Rafa mentioned the cost of particular players which we couldn't compete to purchase due to their transfer fees and wages which other teams like Huddersfield and Brighton were willing to pay. This seems to have started this off.

So does that mean those players we couldnt compete to sign that they did will go on to hit 15 - 20 goals. Its pure shit.

They must have upped the secrecy and confidentiality after the bid leaks earlier. Too quiet.

Both sides were 'very unhappy' with the leak according to Simon Bird's article. The Mirror have been shite for news on us lately but Simon Bird is credible enough.

Isn't he the one referred to as a "cunt" by JFK?
