It was very disappointing yesterday, bare minimum fans could’ve crowded around his section to let him know he’s not welcome. A few songs in the gallowgate doesn’t really cut it.

Why aren't we seeing reports like this:

lots of old farts in the Milburn around him, zombie fans, however i think Rafa being at the club is holding it all together, im now almost at the point of wanting him sacked to spark the riot.

Rafa sacked and replaced with Allardyce needs to happen asap to wake people up.

Honestly believe a whole lot of fans in the ground would welcome that. Also, expecting the same people to get mildly irritated at Ashley is simply not going to happen. These people actively verbally abuse and attempt to silence any chants and protests in the ground. They're Ashley's biggest weapon.

Lots of people stating “seriously considering giving up in february if things don’t improve. Until then, protests only hurt the team, which we’re seeing now”

It’s like the last 11 years haven’t actually happened. I do wonder if Ashley and Pardew did such an amazing job at lowering expectations that apathy really has fully set in. We’re stuck with this.

Agree 100%. These are the same people who refused to join in the sackpardew campaign because he was doing his best and basically a good old fashioned English manager. Allardyce has built a career on that same quality.

Say this Kenyon rumour IS true, are we all in agreement that it would be a good appointment for the cloob.

If it is which I highly doubt then it all depends on who’s backing him really. Right now the reports seem to indicate that he has few backers with only a newly created asset fund from the rockefella’s putting up some of the money. Being an asset fund then no doubt they’ll want their investment back somewhere down the line which means money may still be tight (though probably less tight then now). Kenyon was in charge of both Man Utd and Chelsea during highly successful times, and helped build Chelsea into the club they are today. How much of that was down to him instead of money will always be up for debate. I guess a big difference is that if he does buy us then we would be his club over him being an employee of the club.

If he is really interested in buying us and lacks backers, then the obvious thing would be to contact Staveley and see if they can come up with something together. The big debate then though would be who takes charge of the club, Staveley wanted to take charge of us herself and Kenyon being involved in the deal would complicate things and he’d want overall control and in his eyes would be more suited to running the club considering he ran 2 of the biggest club in the country in recent years.

In reality I don’t believe this is true, Kenyon will have been paid by Ashley/Bishop, he may have even went to the Rockefella’s to sound them out to give the reports some sort of legitimacy where they don’t turn around and claim it to be false. Ashley could also be using it to smoke out any potential real buyers, and/or as a way to bump his price back up to £400m again.

It probably has more substance than the Staveley 'bid' which was most likely a paid service from Ashley.

At least Kenyon actually has previous experience in football, and at the top. It's about the best we could hope for, which most likely means Ashley has paid for this 'bid' as well.

Part of me thinks bishop told him to sit there grinning all game.

Yeaterday his ground staff forcibly confiscated a flag on the pretence that it was an ‘unauthorised item’ despite it being a flag that been in flag displays inside the ground previously. They also tried to forcibly confiscate another flag. They then came down to the roadside to try and provoke protesters. Bishop has been filing police reports over tweets and reviews. Sports Direct stopped tweeting for a month. He is trying to pass it off that Rafa is going to extend his contract. He has been shamed into gifting season tickets holders club badges and a pen in an attempt to keep them happy. He has had to leak a story about Kenyon potentially buying the club (which will likely be fabricated by him) in order try and get to the stadium peacefully. He had to lie about attending his companies own AGM and refused any questions from being asked due to the number of Newcastle fans in the room.

However he makes 1 smile at the match and people think he’s not bothered about us.

We will possibly hate Kenyon just as much as Ashley tbh, but I’m willing to take that chance.

If it’s true..

He’s been extremely successful running one of the worlds biggest clubs and then a small club that won the lottery.

Abramovich saw him as a key appointment for Chelsea to be taken seriously.

Running a club the way Ashley does would be totally alien to him.

So would he be a massive improvement? Most certainly. Would he buy into a club just to have them tread water? Definitely not. Would he try and get the best players possible for the club? That’s all he knows in the game..

Why has the silly cunt attended the last 2 games? What's his motive?

Trying to show he's not scared and the protests aren't bothering him?

Any kind of reaction is showing the opposite. So attended is showing its getting to him. Wonder if he keeps attending from now on? Wonder if he's talking to Rafa after the game? He did say he wanted to come watch the team train, is that the next step? Mind, easier to get to him at the training ground than in a stadium full of cameras.
