Ryder knows f*** all. He’s just pouring cold water on it as he’s nowt better to do. He’s lost the exclusive edge so heading his bets on it not coming off so he can act like he knew something.

He’ll have been told this by the club, like. Other outlets reporting the same word for word. This is how journalism works.

The bloke is an absolute fraud of a journalist. His so called sources must be absolutely s*** as he didn't have a scooby about anything. All that's happened is that the club have had to say there have been talks due to the media frenzy as nothing would be remotely confirmed until the papers have been sent to the Football League and their approval given.

Had a first date last night which I thought went well. Came home to the takeover news. Wake up to no takeover and a standard ‘just not compatible’ message. This fucking club

My guess is that both parties have agreed on a price. Presumably proof of funds and due diligence now has to happen, but my feeling is that the biggest obstacle has been crossed.

Wonder what the Sheik thinks of being used as a PR stunt

He'll have to ask his "closest working associate" why he leaked the story.

His closest working associate being Be’ith El-Kishop

Mike Ashley is involved. He can put a new obstacle up at any point.
