Hanshithispantz
Hopefully Rafa's midlife crisis is over and he gets back to doing what he knows.
Geordie Ahmed
We all know both Manquillo and Joselu will start, then do shite as we lose 2-0 All rests on Merino starting and trying to drag us through

Interpolic
Think I'd be really pleased with a point here, which shows how grim things are at the minute. I'm going to Stamford Bridge on Saturday

HaydnNUFC
Let's not forget Diame. He'll start, too. In fact, he'll probably just start the same 11 that played against Watford. He won't.
Dave
Expecting Hayden and Perez to return and be the only changes.
sempuki
Expecting Hayden and Perez to return and be the only changes. He would be mental to persist with Joselu. I wonder what the other players think?
mighty__mag
Im not confident with our selection. Continuing to select Joselu, Manquillo, we have Mbemba who is better and sure Mitro is a nob head at times but he is possibly the biggest threat for this league. I hope Rafa can see past his regimental style and drop some of the weak links and invite the better lads back of the naughty step.
Guest firetotheworks
Back to 4231 and a couple of changes and I think we'll win it. Everything else and I couldn't guess.
tinoasprilla
Gk Elliot Rb Yedelin CB Lascelles CB Lejeune LB Mbemba RW Murphy CM Shelvey CM Merino LW Aarons ACM Perez CF Mitrovic fully expect gayle up top on his own. Cant retain posession and we have to endure Pardew fist pumps
Away Day Gadgie
Rafa needs to get his shit together. Ditch Joselu, Manquillo and Diame, forget about 4-4-2, and get us grinding out a classic 1-0 away win ?

Ikon
WBA Win, Pardew: "I went down and had a little talk with the lads and told them a few things we could do blah blah I'm a cunt" WBA lose, Pardew: "We have some things to work on, but as soon as I start I will make us ready, we'll attack and play fantastic front cunt football"
Scoot
Need to get something here, even a point will do to stop the rot as we'll be getting nothing again on saturday.
Mattoon
Really needs to throw Perez and Mitro upfront in a 4-2-3-1 again and see if they can find that old chemistry, Manquillo needs to be dropped for everyone's sake too! Rafa has persisted with Joselu way beyond even his staunchest defender, something has to give here if we want to turn the tide. A gritty 1-0 to us with the right changes, a feeble 2-0 loss if he sticks with the same dross.
HaydnNUFC
If we don't get anything here we're looking at 6 back to back defeats. A type of run I thought would've been unheard of under Rafa, even with these players.

Ketsbaia
Let's go back to 4231, play Merino, play Hayden, replace Manquillo and go back to being difficult twats.
Figures 1-0 Football
I don’t necessarily think the formation is the problem. I think Joselu featuring rather than Mitro and Merino/Lascelles injured is the problem.
Klaus
Like it matters what formation we play, when the strike force is as toothless as ours
