He absolutely loves low balling every cunt

Hes the type of fucker that comes to look at your 10 grand car youre selling and offers 3k......its a complete and utter waste of time selling clubs dealing with us as unless we can exploit their desperate need for cash they aren't going to sell

We are like the cash converters of the football world.....

Feyenoord should just completely ignore any bids that don't meet their asking price, refuse to even respond to them. Then after the deadline passes, tell everyone that no bids were ever on the table or under consideration.

That's how negotiations work, right?

Van Bronckhorst:

"Jörgensen is very cool about the transfer situation. He knows Feyenoord will decide what happens. He's available for selection next Sunday for the game against ADO Den Haag. It's not in his head."

"Strange things can happen, especially when English clubs get involved. We've seen it in the past. We have to wait and see, also about what we could do afterwards [in terms of getting in a replacement]."

"I want to keep him at the club, he's an important player. I know there is contact, but regarding the details I'll wait to hear from Martin van Geel [Feyenoord's Technical Director]."

It's a good job we are keeping this on the down low and only us on this site know about it otherwise another club might nip in

I doubt it, it's a canny high price for someone relatively unknown. I imagine we'd only consider paying this much based on Rafa's judgement. Can't really see anyone else jumping in with a £17m bid without doing their homework.

imo this fella is only worth anywhere near £20m because its january and we are so desperate.

the club needs to realise that this month we're going to have to pay way over the odds for what we need.

just goes to show how clever rafa had been setting up those deals for townsend, delph and the other lad a year ago for such reasonable fees - they would now cost three times as much.

Reading between the lines, the player has probably already decided to join us and Feyenoord know it. That doesn't mean to say that this transfer is a certainty, but it's probably why we are trying to penny pinch (don't we always) and also why they are looking for a replacement.

The worry is that we will dick them so much that they tell us to fuck off.

In any ordinary situation, I'd say this transfer is a certainty but it's the end of January, it's us and it's spending money.

It's starting to sound like this one might happen, but you never know with these bellends.

I'd not be gutted to miss out on Jorgensen but - if you're telling me that it's him or nothing - then we have to go for it :undecided:

Like I said above. With any other club it would be a certainty.

Pay £18.5m, break club record once, gives scope to pay a whopping £19.5m for someone in the summer if we stay up.

Smash the club record twice in 6 months since Staveley wouldn't stump up. All hail Lord Mike.
