Ronaldo
His predecessors were Darlow, Rob Elliot etc. As @Yorkie said, an obscene upgrade on that utter shit.

The Bonk
Happy for him that he gets to stay in the league and not trot off to Saudi like what was rumoured earlier this year. Hope he does well for them.

James
Keepers ranked (with quite a bit of game time) in my lifetime as an NUFC fan from best to worst: 1. Given 2. Srnicek 3. Pope 4. Krul 5. Hislop 6. Harper 7. Dubravka 8. Darlow 9. Elliot we’ve been lucky to have some good goalkeepers and for that reason he was nowhere near the best. Fak
I was always under the assumption Srnicek was alright. Surely he wasnt better than Pope

El Prontonise
I'd have Dubs ahead of Harper like.

Surely he wasnt better than Pope I remember him being considered a bit dodgy at the time, but I was pretty young and didn’t go to games regularly. Was he not pushed to the club by an agent under Rafa? I don't even think we 'found' him.

That's a cakewalk for Harper, he does that before breakfast and twice on Sundays. Man loved sitting.
AyeDubbleYoo
Pope is probably our best keeper in the modern era, then Given and Krul. Fraser Forster could’ve been in the conversation if we hadn’t needed to ship him out. Really we haven’t had many good keepers at all.

Ronaldo
Pav was a lovely man but a poor keeper who was the glaring weakness in that Keegan side.
Kid Icarus
If we're talking peak seasons I'm going 1. Pope 2. Given 3. Krul 4. Dubravka 5. Harper 6. Srnicek 7. Hislop 1 and 2 and 6 and 7 are close.

I don’t think he was ever a first choice keeper at a remotely decent level ever again.

I'll die on the hill that Harper should have gone to a tournament with England as the third keeper. Lever to be pulled only of needed on game, but the life of a reserve keeper, being ready for action at any time but knowing that time is rare, is totally different to a number 1. It's a real unique position
