Miggys First Goal
£2m gives us an extra £50m in the transfer war chest. That’s how it works, right? RIGHT?
SteV
If we manage to get anywhere near £2m for a 36yo goalkeeper, we’ve done sensationally.

I suppose it will have been impossible for Man City to match our offer seeing as they didn't have a Dúbravka. Bloody hell.

gbandit
Thanks for being a core player for us for many years, overall has been a very solid keeper for us. Wish you well Dubs

Can't imagine we'll get anything more than a few hundred grand tbh. Maybe if we'd signed Trafford and there was some fudge/swap deal - but not as a standard transfer. He was going to leave us for pennies last January before he signed a new deal to stay on, wasn’t he? Dubs has been a great servant at a dark time for the club and stepped up again last season to keep our season going on the road to silverware and CL qualification. He will go with my best wishes, most definitely.

54
Thats a great move for him, and it'll suit his game down to a tee given how defensive Burnley are under Parker. He's been a great servant overall, he was excellent when he first came in under Benitez, and was a massive breath of fresh air given we'd been dealing with Darlow and Elliot in what felt like forever, his two long term injuries messed him up, and the drop off was noticeable afterwards. I'm glad he had that Indian Summer this past season, as I think he deserves to be remembered fondly. In terms of keepers in my lifetime, I think i'd put him 3rd: Given > Pope > Dubravka > Krul > Harper
ponsaelius
Eh? He literally was going to be part of that transfer. He pulled out of the tour because he was supposed to be going there, until Trafford opted for City.
gbandit
I’d have Krul ahead of him for sure but he’s top five for sure
Big Geordie
Will be a good move for him. Another great servant to the club, through some difficult years. Best of luck for the future, Dubs.
AyeDubbleYoo
Never liked him since he demanded a loan move to Man Utd’s bench. But before that I thought he was decent. Glad to see some of the squad players are being moved out. Just need to see a few come in as well.

Man Utd paid a loan fee for someone they didn’t need. And we ended up short of keepers. I prefer to forget it ever happened tbh.
