They should blame themselves. They should have pissed that league last season, and this season. They said it was a pub league. Why the fuck do they need playoffs to get promotion then? They deserve what they have.

Ah went to Blaydon Races twas on the 9th of June,

Sunlun's season curtailed on a summer’s afternoon,

Ah went & looked on RTG and they were blamin' Methven

This is exactly what I hoped to find in this thread, knew someone would have a bash at it

Glad to see Coventry promoted back to the Championship after all there hardships.

Also pretty nice to see new teams in the playoffs in Fleetwood, Wycome and Oxford.

Are these tramps in administration yet?

joking aside (sort of) can the don manage to hang onto them another season the way things are?  legit question, he's already down £10m into that dell company right?  how is he going to fund another season ffs

Wonder what is next. Think Donald paid about £12m for the club, plus £9m loan, and further expenses and dropped income.

He can walk away and consider it a £12m hole or chase his losses, but he'll soon be at the £35m he's asking for them anyway.

Few posters on Groom are saying they should boycott every away game for teams that voted to end the season early. Then someone points out it was every team bar 4 that chose to end it early, Sunderland being one of them

If they can’t afford to finish league 1 and 2 this season, how can they afford to start a new one assuming still no fans as expected ?

Some think there won’t be a League 1 and 2 next season, or if there is then their season is delayed in order to maximise the amount of games they can play with a crowd.
