On one hand they will say that someone living in North Shields/Whitley Bay, Gateshead, and even Byker have no right to support us because it’s not in Newcastle. Let’s not forget their ‘Newcastle airport isn’t in Newcastle’ line. However they will argue to the end that everyone in Durham should be supporting them. Imagine thinking that someone who lives so close to SJP that they see it every time they look out of the window shouldn’t support NUFC, yet someone in Spennymoor should have a season ticket at the SOL.
