Stifler
Police should do everyone a favour and ban away fans like, will be absolutely chock full of cretins. This.
xLiaaamx
"Ban away fans" ffs. Can see them doing it for an advantage though.
Guest
Would the FA allow that though? End of the day it’s a competitive fixture.
Foluwashola
The constant reminders of the pathetic level they've fallen to are class. Might go along purely for the BANTZ, although Stoke fans did this and saw their bairns get battered. Probably best ignoring it.
NEEJ
Discuss this in the Reserves/Academy thread please.
Wallsendmag
On the same day that they have to travel to Accrington Stanley for a league fixture they get drawn against Newcastle Under 21s in the Checkatrade Cup. Must be soul destroying being a Mackem.

maybe_next_year
Given Sunderland's recent history, is it wise to send a bunch of kids there?
jack j
Police should do everyone a favour and ban away fans like, will be absolutely chock full of cretins. Really? I imagine it will be similar faces to what a normal derby would be, reckon it will start at over 100+ loyalty points I may be wide of the mark mind
cp40
they are not really that bothered on RTG- tho their Fuckometer is off the scale for some reason.
Robster
Must be soul destroying being a Mackem. Whereas for a fan of NUFC, it's all sunshine and lollipops.

Wallsendmag
Must be soul destroying being a Mackem. Whereas for a fan of NUFC, it's all sunshine and lollipops. I know who's position I'd rather be in. Being in the 3rd Division and playing Accrington Stanley is embarrassing enough but having to host Newcastle United Juniors at home in the Checkatrade Trophy trumps even that. These were a Premier League club this time 2 years ago.

geordiedean
This is a free hit. Unlikely, but would be amazing if the U21's won. They will play a full strength 11 to ensure this doesn't happen

midds
I’ve never ever given a single fuck about this spunky competition and I can’t pretend I do so now. It’s a lower league cup and always will be, including youth teams from the big clubs doesn’t change it either. It’s an U23 fixture. For us.
BlackandWhite
Their first team have to play our under 21s in a competitive fixture As embarrassing as it gets. They’re competing with our kids.
