Unbeatable That's the right phase for him and Tripps and arguably Burn aswell but yeah they all played like a version of them from a few years ago. Just a few levels up from the norm. Just showed how much it means to them all. To see so many of the players crying today was a real show of how much it means to them. They aren't just mindless rich footballers, most of these lads genuinely care and wanted to deliver this for us fans aswell as themselves.
Zero
They treated this as the game of their lives and gave it absolutely all.

Vinny Green Balls
Dude will also be a legend for voicing his disgust with Bruce. a player of his caliber relegated to the bench in those dark years. Just fucking madness.
AyeDubbleYoo
When you don't notice Schar apart from a couple of amazing passes, you know it's a great day. Thanks for everything Fabian.

We're so fortunate to have all these clips rather than the 1955 win which would've consisted of buying a paper this morning for a match report. Doctor Zaius
Must be amazing for the likes of Schar, who havent ever won a final before, to win a cup at the backend of their career.

Fak
Him and Trippier. Why do they mug us off for weeks with sub-par performances - making me asbolsutely convinced they're both finished - only for them to go and pull out performances like that on Sunday and make me fall in love with them all over again? New 5 year contracts for both, please.
Nucasol
The human turd Bruce almost drove him out, only for him to come back in from the cold, help save us from relegation, be a lynchpin in helping get Champions League, score the sealer v PSG, the 2 goals v Villa, the 90th minute equaliser v Liverpool earlier this season and now a trophy. There have been better defenders but I doubt there’s any in my 40 years who’ve made the consistent high level impact of Wor Fabian. Phillipe Albert was my previous favourite CB but Fab and BDB are now up on a pedestal for me. Recency bias perhaps but they’ve earned their status in whatever “best ever” debate is had. I wholeheartedly agree! Even if the “best ever” debate with my mates is about all defenders of all time, I shall be fighting to the death for their inclusion. Baresi was good, Beckenbauer strode out well, Maldini was smooth. But they were surrounded by pure class and played under top managers. Tell me they’d score worldies after years of Bruce non-coaching and being dropped behind Ciaran bleeding Clark!! Not a chance! I can forgive Trippier for needing to "get up" for a big game but not managing to play at that level consistently. But Fab I expect to play closer to that level regularly.
