He should've been off straight away, you could see he wasn't home.

Absolutely, he looked dazed and he didn't understand the ref's instruction that he had to go off the pitch, he clearly wasn't right

Yeah said to the Mrs. When the ref was asking him to step off the pitch he looked like he didn't know where he was. That was evidence enough to me that he needed to be off immediately.

The goal could have happened anyways but it was possible that his bizarre decision to leave Rashford unmarked on the penalty spot was related.

But the goal is irrelevant. The wellbeing of your players should take priority.

Why does he get hit in the head what seems like every game? Does he just lack some basic survival instinct gene or something?

I don't know, but I assume:

A) He's brave and will put himself in places others wouldn't.

B) We're noticing them more because they're having worse impacts on him than a typical player.

Yeah. He's always been prone to head bangs but he seems to be getting hurt worse and worse by - relatively - lesser and lesser things. Not a good sign.

Such a serious thing that’s been downplayed for so long. One I remember was the England rugby player Shontayne Hape. Kept getting concussed and was forced to retire:

The Dallas Cowboys documentary has part of an episode on Troy Aikman and his 10 concussions he had in his career:

I'm a little older than Schar and very active.

I've noticed in the last few years my resistance to injuries is sliding massively. Doing the same things that I used too but.. I can't do it without issues,

He's just posted on Insta that he's going to miss the next few games.

Its clear he had a concussion and the protocol is atleast a week out, so thats the Bournemouth and Bradford games as a minimum.

As much as I'll always miss him in the XI, good that he's missing some games.

I know the weekly Schar head injury has been a running joke for years now but it is pretty worrying how many blows he's taken, especially as he's rarely gone off for them and just continued as normal. Absolute joke that he was allowed to continue last night.

It isn’t but scenarios like this is why we paid the money for Thiaw.

It is, I just think Bournemouth away is a really bad game to throwing Thiaw into. You'd want to rest Burn midweek so do going roll the dice and ask Botman to play twice in a week?
