mickthemagpie
Here's a guide on how to hit Sports Direct with a Subject Access Request. It costs nothing and it'll take you all of 2 minutes to cost Ashley up to 30 working days without any compensation or profit. Just a couple of hundred requests could cost them thousands of work hours. ...here's a template. https://ashleyout.com/campaigns/gdpr/ Anyone had a respone yet? Supposed to reply with the info within 30 days i think and i'm on 28. Potentially large fines if they don't comply.
Guest firetotheworks
It's only 30 days to respond. They'll just contact you saying they'll either need more time, or that they need I.D.

Guest firetotheworks
Same. They're asking for certified versions as well, which is basically obstruction because you often have to pay to have a document certified. I'm going to send a copy of my I.D and point out that it doesn't need to be certified under ICO regulations.
Tsunami
Serious question here; what is planned for tomorrow’s game? Is this is the late walk in, I’ll happily take part but I can say with a fair bit of confidence that I’ll be very much in the minority partly because most fans haven’t a clue about it. There’s been precious little coverage of this anywhere.

Guest NobbyOhNobby
Nice write up and publicity in the guardian this morning. It's listed in their "ten things..." pre-weekend matches piece. To be honest, there's not much more to know is there? Just go to your seat in the eleventh minute. I'm sure there'll be plenty of stuff in the press today and tomorrow about it. There's a lot of negativity towards the magpie group in here, and I think it's misplaced. At least they're trying to do something

There's a lot of negativity towards the magpie group in here, and I think it's misplaced. At least they're trying to do something I think it’s a question of communication methods and need for the right skill sets. I for one am behind everything but the well meaning normal people line will only hold so much if you don’t seek to adapt. Admittedly, confidence has taken a knock and questions have needed time to answer.

HaydnNUFC
Whole walk-in should be cancelled tbh. Think both protests should tbh. Why? They're going to fall flat on their arse, probably to the point of the media, mayhaps even Ashley himself just laughing at the attempts. That's due to a mixture of things, the Shirebrook shambles and subsequent loss of respect from some in the MG, recent form, the division caused by certain individuals and the fact the campaign has only had real publicity on Twitter. I think they'll end up going ahead and I'll be taking part regardless but I don't think it's right for them to go ahead. If January goes tits up the desire for many fans to protest is reignited, if it goes well the MG can claim partial responsibility for that from the initial pressure. Right now, after a good winning run and good performances with upcoming matches against sides around us in the festive period, desire to protest from many fans is not high. It's just not worth it. Rod
Shall we just pretend the last 11 years didn't happen then? The Magpie Group are doing a great job, it's the supposed fans on here that need to grow a pair.

Saying that the boycott won't work and that TMG should save face is the same as ignoring 11 years and not having balls? That's a new one.

I thought you said you were boycotting wolves? Personally i think people should just do it, if not many others join in that's up to them, but if people feel strongly enough about it they will do it anyway. Like i am boycotting altogether, even if we get full houses, i don't feel like my protest is useless, it's what i FEEL is right, i'm not prepared to give him any more ticket money, and that's it. Rod
Well, according to this forum it's blown over. I will act according to what I feel is right. Same as 1892. 11 minutes and Wolves boycott. It's a small price to pay.
