Just don't enter the league or FA cup and carry on our trophy drought as we do nothing to help ourselves try and ever end it. The worst part about it is how Ashley has now lowered expectations and made people think we can't compete so much that most the line ups I see are just our reserves and an acceptance we will get knocked out first round. Atsu has been even worse, and looks like Ritchie is out as well. It will give us the opportunity to get some pace on both flanks - whether they'll actually have an impact is a different matter, but with the lower level opposition we should be able to get them the ball a lot more than recently. Aye that's why he has been in and out the team at mediocre French sides since leaving and bigirimana was at some random Scottish team last I seen and vuckic was on the bench for Rotherham or someone. A few favourable ties and taking it seriously and you can easy find yourself in the semis. Not like we have anything else to look forward to but we can't even manage to attempt a cup run.
