Relegation and a decent spell in the championship is our only hope of getting rid of Ashley, when the £100 million plus isn’t coming in every season he’ll sell and won’t get the kind of money for the club he can get now. The perpetual decline is underway. The law of diminishing returns is in place re tickets, fakeover lies, hope etc. All the managers have control over is performances and these performances are far closer to relegation places than almighty 12th and that will surely balance itself out and likewise the clubs value. That price isn't going to get any higher but he's sadistic enough to take a hit on that to f**k the club up a while longer. A relegation - who would even care about coming back to the PL under this owner again?! Only one person benefits - him. So attendances would plummet in that event - even with freebies. The good news is it seems like it would take doing a sunderland or at least staying in the championship with a half empty stadium to get rid of him and for the penny to finally drop that the end product from this owner is misery and it must be stopped. Until it happens of course, again we’ll hear the first of it out of the blue and if it doesn’t happen, well, we simply won’t hear nothing because there wouldn’t be anything. Until we hear the news SOLD It’s best to ignore everything or rather forget about it all. My own opinion is that whoever is at the stage they are right now which I’m confident is where it’s at and very much real, are closer than anyone else has been to buying the club and whoever they are, they have the money, want to buy the club and now it’s all down to one person only who can only make this happen by saying yes. Then it’s done. Where they are at, however, means nowt, it’s where is ?????? at? He’s at the Casino, pissed, he’s down, but not out, does he play on or go home?
