I was waiting since the news broke of this proposed takeover of something like and I'm 100% certain now this will crash and burn like the other takeovers. Ashley is not upset the talks leaked, he is just using that excuse to accuse the buyer of being time wasters for not wilting to his ridiculous demands to absolve himself of any blame. He could also be using it to extract more money from the buyer in the hope he can exploit their desperation. Remember Ashley said last summer that "what difference does an extra £10 million make, if you are a billionaire it shouldn't make much of a difference". Not the exact quote, but it was something along those lines which suggests he will move goalposts in the last minute even if a deal is agreed.
