Everything else we are in the bottom 3 for. Apart from the bottom 3 that matters. Brewcie has kept us ticking over until the new owners & manager comes in. Simple as dat. Most fans agree that a poor manager replaced a good one and that the same poor manager did better than expected because most people expected him to get us relegated. It only gets silly when people like Luke say that he has done an excellent job. He hasnt. He has done a good job, at best, and that's only against the background of expectations, which are very low. Even if we had Rafa and say Spurs squad of players, I wouldnt have expected much from City, results wise. It was the lack of everything resembling a football side that was embarrassing. This idea that we had a reserve side out is nauseating. Even the reserves can be motivated to work hard, and have team shape. It was pathetic. Funny enough, I wasnt surprised or bothered.
