Someone in the Chronicle comments saying Bruce talking about how Covid affected NUFC was state propaganda, and it's all a plot he's been put up to the try and get Newcastle fans to fall for the scamdemic.  Can you imagine anyone less likely to be invited to take part in an intricate global conspiracy of the elites than Steve Bruce?

Lucky c*** yet again.

Cant be lucky every week.  You make your own luck in this game.

Bringing a sub on that scores the winner....

Honestly he is making everyone on here look like mugs.

Yeah, we’re all mugs and he is a good manager!

He’s the luckiest manager by a billion miles!

Do we think

A) Bruce spotted a weakness in the opposition, made a tactical judgement, consulted his staff who agreed the decision to bring on a player who would take advantage of the weakness and create multiple opportunities to score or create goals?

Or

B) Stick him on and see what happens (shrugs shoulders and licks lips)

Let’s see how much he’s learned on Wednesday. The WBA/Leeds back-to-back has a similar feel to West Ham/Brighton. Will he adapt to their high energy style or will it be ‘same again, boys’?

Of course it's annoying, yet again, to see a team that's below us in the league, pass the ball much better than us. But ultimately games are decided by what goes on in the two final thirds of the pitch, and Bruce is finding a way of winning games. It's not all down to luck.
