Less rotation of attacking players. Last season Rondon was the 6th most used player in Rafas squad with 270 minutes played. This season under Bruce Joelinton (344 mins) was 4th most used player and Almiron (333 mins) 5th. If ASM hadn't already been injured, he would have been in the christmas period now.

Bruce out. He has no business being a PL manager and certainly not here. Says it all when he is the best that Ashelys NUFC can get.

Let him stay and give the match going fans what they want and what Ashley deserves. Even better, keep the "promotion specialist" on in the championship and see how Ashley reacts when instant promotion fails for the first time.

He’ll do well to avoid 6 defeats in a row. Norwich at home could be huge for him.

If he losses these four it’ll be 8 losses in the last 10 games.

Wolves

Chelsea

Everton

Norwich

Arsenal

Unfortunately Ashley would be more likely to give him a contract extension than sack him.

The fact 50k are in the ground content and condoning steve fucking Bruce as our manager in 2020 in the premier league just shows how much Ashley has eroded expectations. The ground sounded like a morgue today on telly

Hi tubes.

Anyone with a bit of sense knows how this all ends and ignores the likes of Luke Edwards.

Nah, continue to question why he's acting the cunt. He's quick with the whole "Well, well, I thought Bruce was shit" line whenever we scrape a win. People need to challenge these arseholes on their flawed rhetroric. Greg is making a good fist of it on Twitter atm.

For the majority of the time getting injuries to your players is down to luck, but for some of these injuries its down to poor squad management from Bruce.

Schar, Saint Maximim, Manquillo, Willems and Lejeune they were asked to play 90 mins or multiple games in succession without any rotation or rest. I mean what was the point of buying Kraft if he can't even fill in during the Christmas period. Bruce could have switched to a back 4 and moved Hayden into defence for one match, played the Longstaff brothers more and even introduced a couple academy players to the bench. He is an experienced Premier League manager, Bruce should know rotation is required even if the quality is not there.

He said himself last summer he thought Newcastle had an excellent transfer window then when the team started badly, he changed his mind that he doesn't have the quality to play his type of football. After the Crystal Palace match, he said he was happy with his squad again, but when results turned and injuries increased he says he doesn't have the strength in depth to cope with injuries. That in itself has been the problem with Bruce and what Newcastle have lost in Benitez. He is not proactive enough, doesn't think long term for anything and never plans ahead just as long as things look comfortable for him points wise he is happy to let things carry on as they are.

The irony in using "context is irrelevant" in a sarcastic manner to defend Bruce

He's stuck with defending him now, which is unfortunate for him, because any sort of reputation he had as a football journalist has gone down the toilet. Only an imbecile or a bent sycophant would have tried to pass Bruce off as a decent manager. I'm actually impressed by how stunningly bad he is. You can't really appreciate it until you see it up close.
