Barnes, Murphy and Tonali were getting most of the plaudits yesterday, but Joelinton was outstanding, and arguably MOTM.

Not just winning the ball, but skating through challenges to set moves up on quite a few occasions. He doesn't get enough credit for his great close control under pressure, and when he comes through those challenges, he quite often pings in a killer pass to top it off.

Showing some really good cuteness to his game at the minute. Seems to have found a knack of breaking lines with cute passes.

He's always had that in his game you know. Especially further up the pitch. Has a knack for a decent through ball.

I recall Gayle screwing up quite a few of those from Joelinton, even before he transformed into the player he is now.

How many interceptions does this beast have that become assists?

Feels when he’s on a cusp of a yellow ban, he plays really well because he’s more measured in his play.

Ban over, he goes back smashing needless tackles, gets booked and has to play on edge which seemingly compromises him :D

We should just lie to him and say he is still at risk of being banned.

Created two of the goals, pass to set Barnes away for the second was excellent!

I remember reading that playing those decisive passes is something he’s been working on improving.

More likely Rogers after he faked getting hit in the face in the reverse and tried to get big Joe sent off.

I noticed he's dropped the cast like thing. Was there anything wrong, or maybe it's a precaution against crap like this.
