Aiston
Doesn't offer a whole lot any more. Need someone much more creative in his place.
Zero
I thought he would be subbed for Ramsay together with the two wingers. Not his fault to be asked to stay for the full game. Just looked a strange decision to me.
Pilko
He needs to be absolutely nowhere near the side for Burnley. His constant gifting of possession to the opposition in games where we need to build up a head of steam is bloody infuriating. He's a warrior, but we need some more artists. Kid Icarus
He was very good for an hour, at which point he should have come off.
nufcjmc
He was quite good helping out our defence and quite good when trying to attack the ball in the final third. But where his position is meant to be he looked hopeless in the middle of the park giving possession away and putting us under pressure. Heard on commentary he had to sit down twice first half no idea if hes carry a knock but like a few if them can't fault the effort but execution is massively lacking. Sibierski
Good on defensive side, but with ball / as an attacking outlet, poor yet again. First half we had a shape where Tonali / Miley were double pivot with Joelinton further forward, but it then means using him as an attacking outlet which he’s been poor at for a while. Only not started 5 of the 19 games he’s been available for in all competitions. Played in all but one game. Ramsey on other hand, started 4 of 13 games he’s been available and didn’t play at all in 3 of them. That needs to shift in next month if we are to see if Ramsey was worth it. TRon
Howe kept him on to give added protection for Lewis against Kudus IMO. Which he did very well for the most part. Defensively he was very important today even though that stuff doesn't get noticed as much.
Lush Vlad
He always wants an extra touch under pressure. Like he is trying to draw the foul like Bruno. The problem is, he never does. I thought he was alright tonight. But he slowed down a lot of our attacks and lost the ball a good few times from trying what I mentioned above. He also lost the ball trying to ping the ball forward a couple of times. I don't mind that so much, it can open up the game for our attackers when it comes off. Miley gives it away less, but he plays the safe passes mostly.
Vaj
As mentioned. Good defensively and poor offensively. In games like that where the opposition is offering nothing the midfield should be three of Tonali, Bruno, Miley and Ramsey to try and get control of the game. If Tonali is out I would like to see Ramsey, Miley and Bruno on Saturday to give us that control
gbandit
Grotesque second half performance, no idea why he wasn’t subbed on 60 mins. Was just jogging about and passing it to them or out of play whenever he got the ball

The result massively dictates how we judge the players and the performance. I don’t think anyone was particularly bad tonight. Although I think Murphy, Ramsdale and Burn had below par games. Along with Hall from a defensive point of view. Woltemade also faded out of it. But if they don’t score that comedy second goal. Nobody cares and there aren’t really any complaints. I’m trying not to boot off and remember my own words. But it is hard after that. Feels like a defeat and fully self-inflicted. Fine margins at this level. He was up against Kudus who I thought was outstanding going forwards and surprisingly decent defensively as well. Joelinton did give the ball away a few times, but he was usually trying to turn us around and get them facing their own goal so I give him some leeway for that. It's a lot easier just passing the ball sideways and backwards putting your defenders under pressure.
Lotus
Thought he was very good 1st half at doing what he does. After 60 mins his performance fell off a cliff. Can’t believe he stayed on.
Amir_9
I think this season is probably his last season as an automatic starter. He hasn't been bad at all, just reaching his limitations. Edited December 2, 2025 by Amir_9
AyeDubbleYoo
Wasn't sure what he was doing when we had the ball, was standing in a half space right up against the defence but nobody was ever going to get the ball to him.
500bhp
He peaked in the cup final, been poor since then. Got to hope a non PIF Saudi club offers us £50m in the summer.
Danh1
Infuriating how bad he is at times. Nearly burst a blood vessel just after their goal when he just kicked it out for a throw in.
Dr Venkman
Should be on a 4-touch limit. Win it, control it, pass it to someone nearby who can play. He's fucking shite on the ball and when it's crowded he's diabolical.

et tu brute
It's no coincidence that Ancelloti called him into the squad, had a look and then immediately removed him from the next squad. He shouldn't be an automatic first choice for us either

alexf
Was a period last night where he gave the ball away 4 times in a row. Still has a impact defensively but he doesn't seem to be contributing anything offensively this year. It's was abit odd that he didn't come off considering Willock has looked the best he has for a long time in his last few cameos and would have given us some energy in that final period. Seemed to start off ok, some nice interceptions and touch rather than power to keep possession then he just seemed to pass into nowhere whenever he had it.
