PlymouthGeordie
I thought he was poor tonight but worked much harder for the team. Did brilliantly in the build up to the pen but other than that his decision making and end product was poor. He'll play himself back in to form soon. Just glad he really put a shift in for the boys because that isn't always the case.
Joey Linton
Had a decent second half I thought, as mad as it sounds I think he suffers a bit from us not needing to be totally reliant on him any more.
gbandit
Not his night, did a lot of good running with the ball but his couple of shots and his passing in and around the box was really poor apart from that one pass across the face of goal which would have been great if we had a mobile striker
Mattoon
Poor first half but started to come out of his funk in the 2nd, that backheel for the counter attack started the goal. Just frustrating because for whatever reason he's nowhere near his best, whatever it is I hope he's over it sooner rather than later. Getting harder to defend him, but he has enough credit in the bank for us not to be calling for his head yet.
Happinesstan
Some early over-reactions to his somewhat frustrating performance, but he never stopped trying and his little touch was probably the difference between winning and drawing. Delighted for him because I think nobody gets more frustrated by his lack of success than him. Wouldn't entertain the idea of getting rid of him, but I would consider bringing in a more rounded player with a bigger reputation, and force him to fight for his place. mouldy_uk
No doubt he’s been poor / unfit for the last few weeks but I’m hoping once we are mathematically safe he can be rested for next season. Would love to see him after a full Howe led pre-season with an improved squad around him, which may help remove some of the pressure.
toon25
I really want him to push on, like, but feel I've been saying that since he arrived Edited April 8, 2022 by toon25
Yorkie
If he had more than only a couple of brain cells he'd be a lot more consistent. Decision making is absolutely pish so much of the time. Tonight he was about 25% sublime 75% ridiculous.
The Prophet
A massively mixed bag tonight. He snatched at his efforts, but he created a couple of chances and committed men, as ever.

Guest HTT II
I can’t be arsed with him tbh now, one outstanding world-class game in ten, several meh games and several fuck off games. If we can upgrade, let’s do so. One point in the game he lost the ball, stops tracking back, they run forward and get a cross in and he’s hands on hips on the half way line. I love the talent, not the attitude and it’s not because he’s lazy it’s because he has no conviction in himself and desire and cops out easily, compare that attitude to say Ronaldo who may be selfish, but you can’t deny his work ethic, desire and want to keep going even if individually. The Butcher
Not his best game, but still involved in the build up for the pen. Nee cunt will pay the reported 40-50m for him. Way too inconsistent for that. He'll be with us for a few more years.

gbandit
That one pass he did to the corner flag when all he needed to do was cushion it along the floor was ridiculous like, was the easiest pass in the world to make and he wasn’t under pressure
Mountain
He's often inches away from greatness. He's great, we just need better players.
Colos Short and Curlies
He's overthinking things at the moment. Almost like the pressure has got to him in being a cog and not the whole machine

Doesn’t get as many touches as he used to get but is in double figures for goals.
Cronky
Too often, it feels like he only passes the ball when there's no other option.
Interpolic
ASM has been very frustrating of late, has to be said. Looks devoid of confidence and not in a happy place. Not sure if I'm imagining it but whenever he gets the ball there is a real lack of support for him in terms of giving him an option for a pass. Almost like the other players know he's going to run down a blind alley and don't bother getting near him to help out. Anyway it exacerbates the problem as yes he's frustratingly running into brick walls but often there isn't a pass on for him. Hopefully it'll start clicking for him in the next few games because currently it's a painful watch.
Newcastle Fan
With his style of play its all about confidence, any hesitation and you end up losing the ball or not producing and he clearly is lacking confidence these days, but he ran his socks off for the team today and gave it everything, hopefully this will help him get back on track, no question we are a better a team with him in the side than without him. Astroblack
There’s lingering trust issues in our team atm. Players don’t look at the shirt and pass but rather the player they’re passing too. It’ll heal over time but it’s going to be a frustrating period. Edited April 8, 2022 by Astroblack

Interpolic
Hopefully we'll replace Almiron and Murphy this summer with far better options for the first team. That'll either make or break ASM at NUFC - it'll spur him on to prove he should be the main man in the side or he'll go in a huff and fade away. Holloway
I want him to be involved in the journey, but it's evident he can't actually pull off a telling pass, which is obviously a major drawback
