Schar is a good defender. Very good at times, in fact. He really isn't. He is good at aggresive interceptions at that is about it, he gets caught out of position a lot but gets away with it in our three man set up with relatively deep wing backs making a 5 when defending. Wouldn't have him anywhere near my team in a back four. Great on the ball, lovely passing range. Decent finisher. The goal, while credit to schar literally should be credited to Joelinton who said fuck this I am making something happen if no one else will. He looks like a stud today. Very impressed. The team looks like one with great potential but one that will not be realised under someone like Bruce due to the constant errors listed above. Both willems and atsu look great then make stupid decisions or dont try. Three points here for the taking if the players actually want, concentrate and dont continue to shoot ourselves in the foot. Just as I say that, Dummett floats a beautiful 70 yard ball into Ben Foster. This is why I don't rate Dummett in these sort of games and it's not some agenda. Totally agree with this.
