Joelinton7
I can see Eddie wanting to keep him but it depends what Wilson wants to do. He’d have to be willing to take a wage drop and have less time on the contract than he may get elsewhere. I’m sure Wilson will still back himself to do it at Prem level but at some point there’s got to come an acceptance that we’re moving on. But we absolutely cannot under any circumstances go into next season with Callum Wilson as our second choice option up front.
The Prophet
With Isak out for the season, who could blame them?

Likelylad
He’s finished at this level man. Would be a poor decision from the club.

But the last three times he's come on, we've been 3 goals up, 5 goals up and 3 goals down. You could have stuck a lad from a Sunday morning team on who'd won a raffle and it wouldn't have affected the outcome. Therefore, I don't understand why you wouldn't use those scenarios to give Osula a taste of it and to think of the future. I never want to see Wilson play for us ever again, but…Eddie seems to prioritise a players ability to fit in to the system over everything else. If he doesn’t trust them to play their part in all phases, they’re not getting on. I think he successfully uses it to get players to buy in.

Out of loyalty seems to be the only reason. We ain't bournemouth we want to challenge and he doesn't cut the mustard anymore.

Probably more for the behind the scenes stuff and being a mentor to Osula and Isak. Edited 1 hour ago by Joelinton7
Crimson Cardigan
I’m relaxed. If he goes it’s time. If he doesn’t, Howe sees something, and all those writing him off with such certainty are wrong, just like they were with Gordon, Murphy, Barnes etc.
janpawel
Extend for a year and sell to Saudi / another team? Thats exactly what I am hoping we do with Dubravka

Their legs, pace and body hadn’t given up on them. I almost feel sorry for the multi millionaire good looking fucker watching him now.
gazza ladra
I think the rationale was the hope that he could play his way into form. Obvious now that isn't going to happen. Late in a game he can take the ball into the corner when needed. Would think that Gordon is our best option if we need a goal.
