arnonel
Him and Longstaff were absolutely everywhere
Big Geordie
Terrific today and a lovely run and finish for his goal.
Kid Icarus
Thoroughly deserves that goal for his performances. MOTM for me as well. The thing I was impressed with in this one was how often he'd get in front of whoever was breaking for them, shrug them off and then play it simple. Had some moments of real class as well. gbandit
Yeah, physically I don’t think I’ve seen him impose himself like that before. He’s learning from Bruno and Big Jow on how to use his body to either draw fouls or shrug people off with ease
HaydnNUFC
That goal has been coming for weeks. Fully deserved, been great this season.

joeyt
Another really good performance and ran himself into the ground Thought the commentators were a bit harsh on the finish, looked like he knew exactly what he was doing
gbandit
It wasn’t a clean contact but he definitely meant to place it there, he fully deserves the goal and I hope we see him getting into those positions more and going for goal
Barnes23
My MOTM today too. Great energy, movement and use of the ball throughout and definitely the most proactive and physical performance from him I've seen this season too. Really excited to watch him continue to develop
TheInfiniteOdyssey
Easy to forget he’s only 23, yet he’s gained so much experience and been involved in so many key moments for us already.
80
Particularly given Joelinton was missing, he really stepped up to the plate today. Good on him.

Klaus
He is clearly at his best when the game is stretched and we play on the counter. He's been good all season tbh, just hasn't had the goals to show it.
Newcastle Fan
amazing energy once again today, and he finally got the goal his performances deserve.
Keegans Export
Best performance in ages. MOTM even without the goal imo.

Disco
Thought he was easily MOM today. Well overdue goal too. Love how quickly he moves up the gears when he slows a defender down and borsts past. Not for everyone but love how casual he goes about his work too. Calm as you like. Can’t be far behind Longstaff in how much ground he covers.

On the first point, there was an interview recently with Saint-Max and he said Willock is the fastest player at the club (apart from himself). 1964
I thought Trippier was mom but willock a close second, Longstaff was a diesel engine and ran himself ragged. Not the best team performance by any stretch but if you play like that and still win 4-1 things are fucking great

gbandit
Aye, he’s lethal running onto balls in behind with his pace. We have Bruno, Trippier and Botman who can all deliver outstanding lofted balls over the top, should be targeting this as an area for Willock to keep advantage of

He's definitely gained confidence this season on the ball, he'll try the casual flicks or dummies to throw his markers, and it's coming off quite often as well. Makes our football look top level when he's on his game.
